I’m Alec, a product designer in Phoenix turning ideas into calm, usable systems.

After a decade in San Francisco’s tech scene, I remain deeply connected to the startup & design community, now working remotely from Phoenix.

It’s no revelation, but great products come from close collaboration between design and engineering. My work spans product strategy, UI craft, and design systems focused on bridging vision and execution.

Lately, I’ve been heavily experimenting with modern AI tools like Claude Code, MCP workflows, agentic prototyping, anything that helps me explore ideas faster or collaborate more tightly with engineering. AI has become a meaningful extension of my design practice.

Outside of work, I'm a new dad and a street photography enthusiast.
